| Vice Chairman Atlantic Legal Foundation Williamstown, MA Douglas Foster has been Vice Chairman of Atlantic Legal Foundation since 1998, when he retired from his position as president of the Foundation; he was president of Atlantic Legal from 1985 to 1997. Before coming to Atlantic Legal, Mr. Foster enjoyed a varied career, first as a high school history teacher, and then as a special agent in the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps, an assistant commissioner of the New York City Department of Investigation, and a partner in the New York firm of Lovejoy, Wasson & Ashton, where he specialized in commercial litigation. He holds a B.A. from Williams College, a master's degree in American history from Cornell University, and an LLB degree from Columbia University. |
