Clifford B. Storms received a B.A. from Amherst College in 1954 and his L.L. B. from Yale Law School in 1957. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1957 and became an associate with Breed, Abbot & Morgan in New York City 1(957-64). He then joined CPC International Inc. (now Bestfoods) from as an Attorney in 1964.

Mr. Storms then became Assistant General Counsel in 68, Vice President, Legal Affairs in 1973, Vice President and General Counsel in 1975. He was promoted again in 1988 to Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

Following his departure in 1997, Mr. Storms started a private practice specializing in arbitration and other alternative methods of dispute resolution.

He is also a member of numerous organizations: Director of Corn Products International, Inc., Atlantic Legal Foundation, and Transportation Association of Greenwich; member, Association of General Counsel (President 1992-1994, Executive Committee 1987-1998), American Bar Association (Committee of Corporate General Counsel) and Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Member of the Connecticut ADR Panel, Center for Public Resources; Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association Large Complex Case Program; Trustee Emeritus, Food and Drug Law Institute; former member of Advisory Committee, Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law, Columbia University; member of Phi Beta Kappa, Indian Harbor Yacht Club.
